UNGA 2026 as it happened: UAE reiterates call for peaceful settlement
During UNGA 2026, the UAE reiterated its call for a peaceful settlement of the three islands dispute with Iran and warned of growing threats to navigation in the region. Algeria condemned Israeli attacks and backed a Palestinian state. Sudan's Foreign Minister accused the US of blocking Al Burhan from addressing the UNGA.
