중국, 무역 마찰 지속에 미국 기업 6곳 제재
중국은 트럼프 대통령과 시진핑 주석 간의 고위급 만남에도 불구하고 무역 마찰이 심화됨에 따라 목요일 6개 미국 기업에 대한 제재를 발표했다. 이 중 무인 차량 제조사 Saronic Technologies, 위성 기술 회사 Aerkomm, 해저 엔지니어링 회사 Oceaneering International 등 3개 기업은 중국의 '신뢰할 수 없는 주체 목록'에 추가되어 중국과의 무역이 사실상 금지되었다. 또한 군함 건조업체 Huntington Ingalls를 포함한 다른 3개 기업은 중국의 수출 통제 목록에 추가되어 중국산 이중 용도 품목 수입이 차단되었다.

China sanctions 6 U.S. companies as trade frictions continue
China announced sanctions on six US companies on Thursday as trade frictions continue to escalate despite the high-profile meeting between President Trump and President Xi Jinping. Three companies — unmanned vehicle maker Saronic Technologies, satellite technology company Aerkomm, and subsea engineering firm Oceaneering International — were added to China's unreliable entity list, effectively banning them from trade with China. Three other companies, including military shipbuilder Huntington Ingalls, were added to China's export control list, preventing them from receiving Chinese shipments of dual-use items.
